BenchIQ is a hockey scorekeeping app built for the bench. Score the game on a tablet in three taps or less per event. The shot maps, faceoff stats, and season numbers build themselves.
Shot tracking with shot maps
Tap where the shot came from. Goal, save, miss, or block, with shooter and assists in one motion. Every attempt lands on a shot map that draws itself period by period, so you can see where your offense really lives and where the other team is hurting you.
Faceoff stats on all 9 dots
One tap per draw with automatic zone detection. Faceoff win rates build per player, per zone, per game and across the season. Find out who should be taking the big defensive-zone draw in the last minute.
Penalty management
Fourteen infraction types and the standard durations, logged in a couple of taps: the player, the call, and the length. Penalty minutes roll into the box score, each player's discipline line, and the team's minutes for and against.
Shootout tracking
When a game goes to a shootout, pick your shooters and log every attempt. Results roll into the box score and the season record like everything else.

BenchIQ installs to a phone or tablet home screen and opens full screen, signed in and ready, on Android and iPhone.
Live game viewer
Can't be at the rink for the game? Everyone invited to the team can follow the game as it is scored: the score, shots for and against, and a play-by-play feed that updates as the action happens.
Game notifications
Turn on notifications and your phone tells you when the game is live, and gives you the final score at the buzzer. Works on Android and on iPhone once BenchIQ is installed to the home screen.
Team stats
Progression, team leaders, possession by period, results by game type, shot profiles at both ends, discipline, goaltending, and every skater's contribution to the team, on one page.
Player stats and season stories
Every tap builds the season story. Per-player goals, assists, points, plus-minus, faceoff win rate, and shot maps, updated live while the game is still going.
Player pages
Each player gets a page of their own: season progression, a fingerprint radar measured against the roster, a hot-or-cold projection, trend charts, shooting and faceoff detail, achievements, career lines across seasons, and a game log. Goalies get a page built around save percentage, workload, and shots against.
IQ Score
Every game scored in BenchIQ earns each skater an IQ Score built from five buckets: production, scoring chances, work, on-ice results, and discipline. It gives the third-line grinder and the shutdown defender a number that shows up even on nights the goals do not.
A dashboard for every seat
No matter what your role, there is a dashboard view for you. Stay on top of the week ahead, the next game, and the season cards that matter to you.
League import
Paste your team page from your league site and BenchIQ pulls the schedule, roster, and standings, then keeps them in sync through the season. Any team can connect a calendar feed for practices and events.
